This could be the poster for my recent work over the summer at C-Lab , directed by Jeffrey Inaba.

C-Lab’s contribution to the New Museum fall exhibit “The Last Newspaper” was to produced a special kind of weather forecast dealingĀ  with the paradoxical consequences of the fact that our physical world is becoming increasingly abstract and dematerialized as we have become more adept at shielding ourselves from it. From a comfy chair, every day, non-catastrophic weather appears simultaneously as pure entertainment, or as a perfect example of volatility, mirroring that of the financial markets for which it also represents an underlying asset.
